PLAGIARISM POLICY

Plagiarism reports are taken for submitted manuscripts through software (Ithenticate, Turnitin etc.) by the editors of Trakya University Journal of Faculty of Letters. Manuscripts are evaluated with these reports in editorial board. Editors may contact with authors for manuscripts with high similarity rates. Manuscripts can be rejected to be published due to high similarity rates.

Manuscripts sent to Trakya University Journal of Faculty of Letters for evaluation should not have been published or submitted for evaluation to any other journals, books, etc. Authors should provide certificate of authenticity while submitting their manuscripts.

For manuscripts produced from using or expanding any other published or presented different source, authors should clearly specify this issue in foot notes added to the title of study and give bibliographical record.

Upon detecting plagiarism in manuscripts, the editor of the journal has the right to apply necessary sanctions. Manuscripts can be rejected for this reason. In case of any plagiarism suspicion for a published manuscript, Trakya University Journal of Faculty of Letters will remove it from web page and notify relevant authorities and indexes through commencing necessary investigation.
